As a semi tractor and trailer crested the summit in Parley’s Canyon on Interstate 80 early this morning, it struck a patch of ice and the driver lost control. The driver of the truck was extricated with the Jaws of Life but only sustained minor injuries, including some burns and he is being treated at local hospital.
